One of the tips given in the program today to help distinguish the directions of the sound sweeps was to close your eyes…..that’s another way to ensure focus!
Made me think how different a brain must be without sight: the auditory pathways must be very different compared to those in the seeing brain.
In children who are congenitally deaf, the brain seems to reassign its auditory cortex (which gets no information) to process visual information.
