Several years ago, Alzheimer’s Australia WA made the decision to “practice what we preach” and create a brain fitness computer software program.
Before the software developers were called in, we undertook a two year long worldwide review of the 14 brain fitness products which were available at the time (including that certain hand-held game one sees advertised on TV during every ad break).
The purpose of the two-year long review was to see if any of the 14 products were better than anything we could have hoped to develop in-house.
Of the 14 products, only two stood out above the rest: 1.) the Posit Science Brain Fitness Program Classic and 2.) Posit Science Cortex with InSight.
Developed by one of the top neuroscientists and a team of more than 50 researchers, Posit Science offered the only programs which were clinically proven to provide the results claimed in the advertising. In fact, we deduced that they were the most clinically trialled and researched programs in the world.
Although this result alone could not be ignored, our research continued, this time into the company’s philosophies.
After a deeper look, we were pleased to discover that Posit Science Corporation’s scientific ethics and goals in research, education and awareness of positive brain health were similar to those of Alzheimer’s Australia WA.
